Terms & Conditions

1. About us
This website is run by Anthophile Florals, a florist based in Bridgend, Wales. You can contact us by email at anthophile.florals@gmail.com or by message on Instagram.
These terms apply to everything you order or book through anthophileflorals.co.uk, including bouquets, workshop places and wedding or funeral flowers. By placing an order or booking you agree to them.
2. Ordering
- Your order is confirmed once payment has gone through and you've received a confirmation from Stripe, our payment provider.
- Orders need at least 2 days' notice. You can't choose today or tomorrow as a delivery or collection date, and some dates may be unavailable.
- Please check your order carefully — especially the date, recipient's name, address, phone number and card message — as we'll make it exactly as entered.
3. Our flowers
- Our bouquets are florist's choice, made with the freshest seasonal flowers available that week. Photos on the website show examples of our style; your bouquet won't be identical.
- We'll always try to follow colour preferences and requests, but if a particular flower isn't available we'll substitute something of similar style and equal or greater value.
- Flowers are natural products: colours, sizes and how long they last can vary. Please follow any care instructions included.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include any charges that apply. The total is shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Workshop bookings include a £1.50 booking fee per booking, shown alongside the price before you pay.
- Wedding and funeral flowers are priced individually. We'll send you a quote and agree how and when payment is made before any work begins.
5. Delivery and collection
- We deliver to Bridgend and surrounding areas for £5. Collection is free.
- Deliveries are made on the date you choose. We can't guarantee a specific time unless agreed in advance.
- If nobody is in, we'll try to leave the flowers with a neighbour or in a safe, sheltered place, and leave a card to let the recipient know. If we can't, we'll contact you to arrange another delivery, which may cost an extra delivery charge.
- Please make sure the address and phone number are correct. We can't be responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect details, and no refund is due in that case.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- Flower orders: because every order is made to order using perishable flowers, orders can't be cancelled or refunded once placed. The usual 14-day cancellation period for online purchases doesn't apply to perishable goods or goods made to your specification.
- Workshops: workshop places are non-refundable, including the booking fee. Workshops are booked for a specific date, so the 14-day cancellation period doesn't apply. If you can't make it, you're welcome to pass your place to someone else — just let us know their name.
- If we cancel: if we ever have to cancel a workshop or can't fulfil an order, we'll offer you another date or give you a full refund.
- Faulty or damaged items: if your flowers arrive damaged or aren't as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or collection with a photo. We'll put it right with a replacement or, where appropriate, a refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Workshops
- All materials are provided and your creation is yours to take home on the night.
- Food and drink are included where stated. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book. Our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including gluten, milk, pork and sulphites.
- Mulled wine contains alcohol and will only be served to guests aged 18 or over. A non-alcoholic option is available.
- Please arrive on time; we may not be able to hold the start for late arrivals.
8. Liability
Some flowers and foliage can be harmful if eaten and may irritate skin, so please keep them away from young children and pets. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
