Anthophile Florals ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through anthophileflorals.co.uk, why, and your rights. We are the data controller for this information under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect

Flower orders: your name, email address and phone number; the recipient's name, delivery address and postcode; your chosen date, colour preferences and card message; and the amount paid.
Workshop bookings: your name, email address, phone number, the number of places booked and the amount paid.
Wedding and funeral enquiries: your name, email address, phone number (if given), the date and venue, and the details you send us.
Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details.

Please only give us someone else's details (such as a recipient's address) if you have a good reason to, for example to send them flowers.

Why we use it

To make and deliver your order, run your workshop booking, and contact you about it — this is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — at your request, before entering a contract.
To keep financial and tax records — because the law requires it.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to.

Who we share it with

We only share information with the services we need to run the business:

Stripe — to take payments securely (Stripe's privacy policy).
Netlify — which hosts this website and securely stores order, booking and enquiry details.
Google Fonts — which supplies the fonts on this site; your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the USA. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK law to protect it.

How long we keep it

Order and booking records: up to 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
Enquiries that don't lead to an order: up to 12 months.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. When you pay, Stripe may use cookies on its checkout page to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.

Your rights

You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. To do so, email anthophile.florals@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
